Onced upon a time, there lived Heungbu and Nolbu together.
Nolbu, the elder brother, was a miser.
So he turned Heungbu out of the house.

One day a snake was watching a little swallow.
And the little swallow fell off his nest.
"No. Go away!"

Heungbu pushed the snake away with his stick.
"Poor little swallow! I will take care of you."
Heungbu tteated the broken leg.

The little swallow grew up well.
As autumn came, the swallow made a bow to Heungbu and flew to the south.
"Good bye."

In next spring, the swallow came back to Heungbu.
"Heungbu, please take this gourd seed."
Heungbu sowed the seed.

The seed came into bud.  In autumn, it grewup to a large gourd.
"Let's cut the gourd in half!"
pop! POP!
Fairies suddenly came out of the gourd.
"You are so nice, Heungbu.  We came here to give you treasures."
So, Heungbu became very rich.

Nolbu heard the news of Heungbu.
Then, he broke a leg of a swallow intentionally.
"Poor little swallow!  I will take care of you."

In next spring, the swallow came back to Nolbu.
"Nolbu, please take this gourd seed."
Nolbu sowed the seed.

The seed also came into bud.  In autumn, it grew up to a large gourd.
"Let's cut the gourd in half!"

Then, ogres suddenly came out of the gourd.
"You are so wicked, Nolbu.
We came here to take the treasures from you!"
Nolbu bacame so poor.

Heungbu heard the news of Nolbu.
"Nolbu! Please stay with us."
So Nolbu regretted his faults.
